This coffee is grown in Chickmagalurk in the region of Karnataka, India at 1100/1200 m. from October to February and processed with the monsooning method in the region of Kerala on the Malabar coast. The latter site is the ideal position to get the correct ventilation in the period that goes from June to September. T
The Monsoon Malabar coffee was born by accident: when the coffee was loaded on the ship to begin its journey from India to Europe, they passed through the Moisture-laden monsoon winds around Cape of Good Hope. Such exposure caused the beans to grow, doubling the original size and turning them into a golden yellow color. The result in the cup is full-bodied, sweet, and round with low acidity and a finely aged coffee caramel finish.
